Proprietors Bill & Alicia Saylor, have long served their community in the non-profit and public education domains. Bill worked over forty years, including the last sixteen with the Cal Poly Athletics Department. Alicia retired from twenty-five years dedicated to the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education. Much of their lives were centered around serving others through organizing and managing fundraising events such as auctions, receptions, booster events and much more! Naturally, opening a mobile hot dog cart seemed to be their next obvious venture together.

 

Encouraged by family and friends, Yabba Dabba Dogs and Catering was established in the summer of 2018. Committed to using locally sourced products whenever possible, Yabba Dabba serves 100% All-Beef Hot Dogs, Bratwursts, Polish Sausages, and the “Vegan Vilma.” Along with an array of toppings, Yabba Dabba Dogs are wrapped in a fresh New England style bun baked by California Fresh Market in San Luis Obispo. *These buns are commonly used on the East Coast for lobster rolls and are unique to our area.
